Gym Updates For Spirits Families & Our Community
As directed by the St. Louis County Executive, Sam Page, we needed to close our doors temporarily to honor the “Shelter in Place” policy recommended by the CDC to protect ourselves, our families, our city, state and country. We encourage everyone to stay home so we can flatten the curve as quickly as possible and all get on to the new normal.
Our mission is, “We Nurture Health Esteem”. At our very foundation, we believe that if you don’t have your health you don’t have anything. We value the incredible fitness opportunities gymnastics provides for all children and have spent the past couple of weeks preparing our virtual gym for everyone.
We opened our virtual gym to a warm and appreciative response from our members and are excited to be a part of keeping life as “normal” as possible for all of our students while continuing our quest to help them build a heathy lifestyle and habits. This has been incredibly energizing and positive for all of us here at Spirits too. We all light up when we are working hard in our virtual classes together. The joy and connection are infectious.
Our current members are working hard in their virtual classes many times a week. Soon we will be opening up membership to the community at large. We are a small, local business who has been serving families in the greater South County area of St. Louis for over 40 years. We truly appreciate the support we have received during our first pandemic experience.
We look forward to re-opening our building as soon as humanly possible and seeing all of your smiling facing again. And for our families that are just getting to know us through our virtual world, thank you for taking this leap of faith with us and we look forward to meeting you in person soon.
We wish everyone health, patience and joy. Please find some time every day to either take one of our virtual classes or get up and move. (Moms and dads can do strength, flexibility and conditioning with us too!) If you can get outside and move, even better. Enjoy this slower pace with your family.
We miss you all so much.
